  • Awesome Book

So To me after reading through this book it sounded at first like Clean Eating was going to be a lot like the Paleo diet you know, no garbage meaning no processed refined caned type of crap, the fresh natural stuff that pretty much grows in the ground or you can pick off a tree or well, we won't go there with the meat. But maybe I misunderstood about what exactly the Paleo diet is, because reading with the clean diet it is not as restrictive where you do just that but can have beans and Legumes and Dairy, which I didn't realize you couldn't have with Paleo. I am learning with all of these books that I have been reading that it is the processed easy to make crap that is harming us and putting weight on us, and really making me think about the food choices I am making, I learned this all in the first chapter!. It tells you about foods to enjoy and serving sizes of stuff you can have. explains what Trans-fats are. Has Recipe ideas, If even gives you a 4 week planner. It doesn't seem like the recipes are too hard to follow either. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to try to eat organic and fresh. I am new to this dieting clean idea and I am going to printing out this list to see what I can do with it. I hate the weight I gained and the migraines I get and I have heard wonders about how this is supposed to help them. This is on the right track to getting on healthy foods!
  • A good healthy book you can actually try easily

    By L.Perry
I found this ebook to be well detailed on the way to eat clean, in a way even I could understand. Not only did it give you the foods you can eat, it cleared up some misunderstanding on foods I thought were clean and healthy. And for those of us who have an excuse for every reason why we just can't eat right, the author laid it out for us in a clear 28 day plan which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not to mention healthy snacks and DESSERTS! And as if they read my mind, they included photos of the meals to make your mouth water even more! So I plan on at least giving the plan a try and using the grocery list to make it an easy shopping trip and give a few recipes a try. I have to find another way to live other than on junk food.

This book is great for anyone wanting to eat clean. Most people think clean eating is expensive so choose not to do it but this book gives you tips like planning meals ahead and buying in bulk. It offers everything to help keep you on track with a 28 day menu including breakfast, lunch, dinner and even snacks! I really liked and found the list of encouraged foods/ food to avoid for clean eating helpful.

  • A great read for me

I'm trying to feed my family healthier. I care for my diabetic grandmother and have my children and their father who are predisposed for diabetes and so the recipes in this book show me that dieting and healthy eating doesn't need to mean bland tasting food. I'm looking forward to making many of these recipes for my family. It's been awhile since I've been so excited for cooking. I can't wait to try that chili and white bean chicken recipe. Yummy!
  • Easy read great recipes

As a woman, it is so easy to fall prey to the newest fad diets. I really appreciate that this book is NOT that. In a very easy to understand way, this book explains everything that someone who wants to start eating clean needs to know. I love the fact that the writer includes an entire month of recipes and shopping lists. A great way to start. I really can't wait to try the lava cake recipe!
  • Excellent resource for those new to clean eating

    By ShanHaze
This really explains what clean eating is and why it's beneficial. It is a "hand hold" for sure. You cannot go wrong if you follow it verbatim. It provides you with all the info first, what to do, what not to do, serving size info, pantry stocking, tools and methods. Then it gives you recipes and a 28 day (four week) meal plan. There is also a strictly vegetarian section which I liked. I received this book at no cost.
  • Easy dishes that are clean and fixed quick

If you're like me and you are willing to remove the processed foods from your every day diet. Well you have found the correct book for yourself to start reading. It teaches you all about healthy clean eating habits. It has a total of 105 recipes for you to try out. The plans are breakfast, lunch, dinner with two snacks during the day. The meals are easy to prep and cook total time is about 30 minutes all together. It's not too bad even for a full time mother. The book has it all planed out for you for 28 days straight. Yes it seems like a long time but you will learn to adapt to it.
  • The title says it all!

    By Lady Daewyn
I've seen more and more on Clean Eating and I can't believe the amount of food I eat that fails at this status. I can't decide if I really want to take the plunge and go 100% or take baby steps. This book was quite informative and gives many foods that you can eat on this diet and the ones you should be avoiding. There's a 28 day plan as noted in the title to help you come up with ideas of what to eat, what to pair it with and the recipes to go with it. My favorite part of the book is the recipes and they actually sound good. I know I would never have thought to make chocolate fudge (a favorite of mine) with dates instead of sugar. I have an allergy to artificial sweeteners so having alternatives to sugar are a plus for me. We go through a lot of Mayo in our house so I'm interested in trying the homemade version. This book would be great for people like me who don't know how to start and what to look for.
