An Instant Classic and One of the Great Love Stories of Our Time

Andre Aciman's Call Me by Your Name is the story of a sudden and powerful romance that blossoms between an adolescent boy and a summer guest at his parents’ cliffside mansion on the Italian Riviera. Each is unprepared for the consequences of their attraction, when, during the restless summer weeks, unrelenting currents of obsession, fascination, and desire intensify their passion and test the charged ground between them. Recklessly, the two verge toward the one thing both fear they may never truly find again: total intimacy. It is an instant classic and one of the great love stories of our time.

  • Amazing!

I had a general idea of what the book may be about, but certainly wasn’t aware of what the actual story has to bring. I loved the book, even brought me to tears at some points. Would highly recommend this book!

Made me think, made me wonder, made me cry. All around one of the best books I’ve read. It’s very out there and different from anything I’ve read and I think that’s what I loved about it.

Read this book for five hours straight. Have never read such a powerful, intense book. The ending truly broke my heart… not a typical romance novel
  • Incomparable

A superb novel. Richly descriptive and evocative. It may be a long time before I discover anything to compare with the quality of Call Me by Your Name.
  • Simply beautiful.

This book is beautifully written. It is so moving, so realistic. It's brought me to tears multiple times and reminds me of my own first love experience. It is officially my favorite book of all time as is the movie. The ending ripped my heart out in all honesty, as it did with the film adaptation. But they are both so perfectly, amazingly done and I recommend them to everyone.

I am devastated, I just end reading the Book and I think I've never cried so much in my whole life. This is one of the best Books that i have read, it transmits lots of Emotions while Reading it. I mean you can happy and excited while Reading it and the next minute you can by crying. Its a beautiful love story and i think that everyone sholud read it, it is just as good as the Film, that was beautifully adaptes. I just think the end is as beautiful as it is sad. I just recommend it to everyone that love romance storys and want to cry their eyes out. Beautifully done.
  • I am broken

This is one of the most amazing books I have read in a long time. It was so raw and real. It has broken me but I would do it all again. I cannot explain to you how easily I fell in love with this book. The choice of words and the structure of the story is so perfect. It made me laugh, cringe, cry. All in all I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. I adore the story, characters, words. It is simply a beautiful piece of art.
  • True Art

This book will capture you in its childlike feelings and pure desire. I’ve read this book three times and it still gives me the same feeling it did the first time I read it. This feeling that slowly becomes a hole in your heart that your fine with cause filling it would mean replacing it with something nowhere near as beautiful, wonderful, and sensational as this book. I will always remember the first and last page of this book cause who I was at the beginning was not who I became by the end and I’m great full for this book helping allow myself to wonder and feel and lust for just a little while. Thank you André Aciman for this piece of art.
